Manufacturer Spotlight

Top Manufacturer of Oilfield Equipment in US ORTEQ Energy Technologies is a privately owned company, proudly headquartered in Gainesville, Texas. The Ortowski family owns and operates this business along with several other businesses in the area. Although ORTEQ Energy Technologies was founded in 2010, the family has deep roots in equipment manufacturing. The original manufacturing requirements were to build and support equipment for their own businesses. However, over time, ORTEQ grew into the business that it is today, which is one of the top designers and manufacturers of oilfield equipment in the United States.

“We understand the unique needs of oilfield operators, so we design equipment that provides real solutions through extra flexibility and functionality. Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t simply buy and repackage components – we design, build and assemble everything ourselves, which gives our customers greater quality assurance,” said Vice President Dillon Ott. “When you look at ORTEQ equipment, you can clearly see that it’s better designed, carefully manufactured and ready to deliver peak performance.”

ORTEQ currently employs a workforce of approximately 160 people. The leadership team is from Cooke County and believe in hiring from the community. They also give back. ORTEQ was one of the founding supporters of the new Boys and Girls Club. Dillon Ott, Vice President, is a leader with the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce, Young Professionals and the Cooke County Manufacturer Consortium.

ORTEQ takes pride in being a recognized leader in fracturing equipment. Their equipment transverses the nation, proudly displaying their name and location in Gainesville, Texas. The fracking industry is evolving as technology evolves. Innovation that extends the life of parts and adjustments in raw materials are decreasing costs and increasing productivity. ORTEQ believes it is their job to discern the difference between trend and innovation and set out to excel in functionality and design.
