The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is conducting a Study of the US 82 Texas Corridor, from the Texas/New Mexico state line to the Texas/Arkansas state line, approximately 575 miles. The study purpose is to identify multimodal needs and prioritize improvements that promote the movement of people and goods along the corridor.
From September 11, 2023, to October 18, 2023, TxDOT will be conducting an online survey to gather input from the public and interested parties that will identify the needs and improvement priorities for the US 82 Texas Corridor. The US 82 Texas Corridor Public Survey can be accessed at US 82 Texas Corridor Study Webpage.
Input collected will be used to prepare a plan which will incorporate the prioritized improvements that will be part of the Vision of the US 82 Texas Corridor as a safe, reliable, and high-performing east-west connection from New Mexico to Arkansas and beyond which provides a consistent and efficient multimodal travel experience for people and freight in support of the economic competitiveness of the rural and urban communities across North Texas as a primary or reliever route.
Please participate in this survey and share the survey link with colleagues, neighbors, and family members who travel the corridor to encourage their participation.
