MASTER PLANNED COMMUNITY LIBERTY POINTE READIES FOR GRAND OPENING

GAINESVILLE, Texas - Liberty Pointe, a 232-acre, master-planned community from Riverside Homebuilders, will celebrate its grand opening this spring with the first phase of the platted 900-plus homes set for the eastern edge of the city. The first model home is now open, and the grand opening will be on Friday, March 22.

The development, conveniently adjacent to an existing Gainesville ISD elementary school, broke ground in 2023 with the infrastructure for the first 104 lots of Phase I. Preparation for Phase II is currently underway.

Gainesville EDC officials say the Liberty Pointe project will meet the demand for single-family homes from Gainesville’s growing business community.

The Liberty Pointe development, fully approved by the City Council, will develop the amenity center in Phase II that will include greenspace, community pool, clubhouse, and playground. The development will also include a walking trail that will potentially connect with the Hometown Hero Walking Trail. Myers said the project’s target market is families looking for unique housing with amenities focused on a high quality of life, including recreation and a strong sense of community.
